Phil_T_Casual: Nordhagen Beach

I don't think I've ever enjoyed building a settlement as much as this. I usually have an idea/plan when I go about building, but this was completely new approach for me, I just went there and started placing things and this is the result.
Intentionally making a mess and everything at an angle was challenging but lots of fun at the same time.

Thanks for checking it out.

FPS alert! FPS alert!

:)

Love the look, things washed up on shore, etc...

John

It's surprisingly not that bad, the build budget for here is probably one of the biggest in the game so it handles a lot of objects well.

Wow. Looks like a heckuva place for a firefight!

Very nice!
The aesthetic of it being just stuff pushed ashore is nicely put together and it's the first time I've seen so much junk in a settlement and not immediately wanted to clean it up. It really works with the theme!

Absolutely fantastic! I love the look of the wreckage in the water and on the shore. Really good job at creating a mess and making it look like a natural occurrence.
Nordhagen Beach has been one of the Settlements that's always difficult for me to build on. I can't wait to get the .esp file and load this Settlement up and give it a run.
Its got my Vote

The city looked so awesome I had to go check it out in game and reference back to your city, the angles are exactly what caught my eye and the plank path was really relaxing feel to me. Being a boxy builder myself the city captured my whole imagination and I want to say great work! :D

Very interesting.... looks like where most of the containers from Libertalia ended up. It's too bad that in a vanilla build you can't extend the jumble of wrecks out towards Ft Strong.
Thanks.
I wanted to place the wreckage of the Northstar on it's side there and have all the containers looking like they spilled out of it. Unfortunately the one in the PBP causes CTD. It's not a big problem though, it turned out alright.

I was once a boxy builder, ya get bored of it after a while.
Builds like this are way more challenging.

Question to @Phil_T_Casual

Where did you pull all the various containers/shipping vehicles/etc from? I have looked through the project blueprint menus and for the life of me, I cannot locate...

And maybe I missed it, but seems like you have a greater selection of stuff?

John

The containers are all from pbp > decorations > warehouse > crates
The boats/barges are all pbp > decorations > vehicles > boats

Question to you @MrCJohn

How are those new saves coming along?
Going to have to abandon the one I'm using, 'tis fucked.
