Solved What is the difference between complex and normal city plans?

I remember the original city plans were reduced to the lighter versions due to the script limit issue, but what are the exact differences between the old plans and the smaller new ones? Do the newer ones just have less assets?

I'm wanting to use the complex city plans but I don't want to risk crashing or bricking my game (or was the bricking issue only for XB1?). I'm using a 1080TI graphics card so do I even need to worry about this issue? I'm particularly worried about areas with multiple settlements near each other like sanctuary, red rocket and Abernathy.

The original plans were pared back, reducing the settler numbers, clutter and excess lighting. All to make them less likely to crash games. Depending on your system it's generally advised not to build multiple city plans with Sanctuary, RedRocket and Abernathy. There is a good article on here that explains that titled something about Triangle of Death.
