Depends on the mod you use. As kevbal wrote, at agricultur you can grow mostly what you like. And some of those plots are named after what will growCan I somehow set up an agricultural plot to grow something in particular or is it random?
You build up the agricultural, walk then to the right front corner and use the "sensor". The menu plops up, you choose the "building plan" and voilàclearly I'm missing something. In Special I see ONE Agricultural plot with no indication of what it will grow. I created two, one seems to be growing watermelon and the other bushes, didn't find a click spot to tell me what was growning.
Thx for the mod Homemaker, I've looked at several planter mods and not quite what I want or don't seem to install. Will check into Homemaker, which I'm guessing is compatible with Sim Settlements. The other option is to use a mod that lets you make planting boxes etc. And then plant and grow what ever you wish.
Another way is to build a vanilla plot and then plant different things there as well.
I think homemaker does this. I forget sorry.
What specific food are you looking for?
Sometimes the plots will change food types depending on level too.
All of the agri plots (as said by Firderis) are individually selectable by clicking on the ASAM Sensor and all of them are used in Cooking (if you mean the crafting recipies at cooking stations). At this point very much discovering what I can do. Want to plant crops that mesh with Cooking. Firderis's comment was hugely helpful and I think I've got it. I may have confused myself poking around with first SimSettlements v1 and then v2.

Always my pleasure, I'm here to protect and serveYou Great, that was what I didn't understand. It was in the video, for about one second.
I have homemaker and yes it does work. I just hope it is the one I think it is lol.Thx for the mod Homemaker, I've looked at several planter mods and not quite what I want or don't seem to install. Will check into Homemaker, which I'm guessing is compatible with Sim Settlements.
