Not a bug Major game breaking bug during dialogue with Jammer

After I killed the guy at the corvega factory for Jammer, we were having the dialogue and he began asking me to kill Red. Subtitles stopped displaying and he started walking away once he had said his lines but I was stuck in "dialogue" with him. The camera was fixed on him, following him around but I had no dialogue options or anything, and I'm pretty sure dialogue was over so I don't think I was supposed to have any options anyway. I forced myself to walk to regain control of the camera but I couldn't bring up the pip boy or interact with anything such as workbenches. A save and reload fixed that issue but I still can't interact with Dogmeat. I tried shutting down the game completely and relaunching and I still can't interact with dogmeat. Wouldn't be a huge deal but he was muling some gear for me that I need to get back. What can I do about this? I considered disabling and reenabling Dogmeat to see if that would work, but doing so would lose all the gear he's hauling for me. Is there a console command I can use to force trade with him so I can get my stuff before trying to disable/enable him?

The only mod I have that I can think of that might have something to do with this is Full Dialogue Interface, which just shows the player options as the full lines that they actually are instead of the default brief, and often misleading summery.
 
Ok so I managed to "fix" it by talking to Jammer again. At first the dialogue didn't seem to be working, I had no interaction thingie when I looked at him but when I pressed E he started talking anyway, asking if I was scared of Red. After that the interact thingie came back and now I can talk to Dogmeat again. It's worth noting that I tried pressing E on dogmeat and nothing was happening until I tried talking to Jammer again.
 
I think you can also open a console, click on dogmeat and type "openactorcontainer 1" without the quotes and it will open his inventory. Works on every npc I have tried it on.
I know that doesn't fix your issue but may help you somewhere else.
 
This sounds like a UI problem, not something that most mods could cause. If you're still having this issue, I'd recommend disabling all other mods to see if it goes away, at least then you'll know if you have a mod conflict to sort out.
