Fixed conqueror setup menu keeps popping up after vault 111

As the title says, i keep having the conqueror pop up set up window open up and asking me to set the options. fresh install, only have unofficial patch, hud frame work, sim settlements 3 in 1, workshop frame work, conqueror and blood moon raiders conqueror add on. after making my character i get the pop up to set my options, run thru the intro till i get out of the vault. as i'm heading to sanctuary i get the pop up to setup conqueror and sim settlements again, same one i got after character creation. keep playing, side with jammer, kill preston and his crew plus all the raiders. agree to work with jammer. head towards drumlin, kill wolfgang and simone. after talking to trudy i get another level up. as i'm trying to pick my perk the set up pop up shows up and soft locks my game. had to alt tab and kill the exe.
(soft lock was not being able to exit out of city prebuild menu.)

Thank you for the report. How did you create a new game? Did you create a new save or was it a clean install of the base game and then validate the game files through steam?

new install, new save. file were validated after the fresh install.

Perfect, thank you! It helps when validating the bug reports.

As-is :punish I don't have a solution. If it still happens and it is a problem my guess would be to revert the save to before you made those selections and see what happens. I am assuming that is the source point of the glitch. I don't have anything like console commands, resaver or papypurs solutions yet. :cray

Well I've got the same bug. I have a crap ton of mods. I've already talked to Jammer , killed all the things at Museum, and got my next quest from Jammer. Headed on down to Drumlin Diner where I got the bug 3 times, all in the Drumlin Diner location. First after I talked to Trashcan Carla I got a message saying "based on your selection, updating options" and then it popped up the selection screen again. I verified it still had my settlement and city plan selections then said yes I was ready to commit to the mod. All three happened after exiting the trading screen with the vendor (buying and selling all 3 times). I wonder if talking to a vendor triggers it since the setup code uses a trading screen to make settlement and city plan selections.

I just added this thread to the note I sent to KG on the no settlers bug.

Thank you!

I had the setup menu popup again after trading with Kleo so it definitely appears to be tied to vendors.

Yeah it's easy to not tie the two events together because on my game it doesn't happen for probably 30-60 seconds after I'm done with the vendor.

Yeah I got the same bug every time i exit the menu after trading the setup menu shows up and i dont even started a quest (from the mod)

I had this continue when I resumed playing this morning but after an hour or two of real world time passed it stopped popping up when I talked to vendors. I mentioned this to Kinggath and he had the following to say:

"Would make sense, the event watcher for vendors is probably still running until the entire city building sequence completes in the background. Since the wizard uses the vendor screen to setup settlement choices. Even on high end, the background code will take hours to run. I was able to front load all of the visual stuff, so the settlement at least looks fairly complete when you arrive."

So at least for this bug it should go away once all the code has finished running in the background.
