The other day I noticed I couldn't build a trader's caravan post at Taffington. I've completed the appropriate quest to unlock and have and can build at other settlements. But, at Taffington, the caravan post, along with the bell and brahmin trough, doesn't even appear in the workshop menu.
Today, while at Taffington, I decided use the Settlement Menu Manager repair holotape. After running it, these three items were back. I built two caravan posts and closed workshop mode. Then, I immediately reopened workshop mode and all three had disappeared again.
I just realized if I open workshop mode on the north side of Taffington, closest to Medford Hospital, all three are in the menu available to build. If I move south towards Bunker Hill, they remain in the menu, but ghost out and will not build. If I open workshop mode on the south side of Taffington, they are not in the menu.
Anyone else ever had anything like this happen? Workshop items either in or out of the menu based on where you are in a settlement?
Presently, I'm treating it like a feature and not a bug, but I'd like to know if this is the telltale of something or might point to a ticking time bomb.
