The Outer Worlds By Obsidan

So there's a new game coming out by the same people who created Fallout: New Vegas.
Here's what we know about the game so far:

It's a unique take on the Scifi gerene, being mostly inspired by Victorian 1800's steampunk aesthetics among other things. There seems to be a little bit of Bioshock and Fallout flavor in there, but so far they seem to be doing their own thing completely. from the trailers and the costuming it doesn't look or feel like they're ripping off anything at all.

You can explore planets and outer-space. and on each planet you can meet and recruit unique crewmen and crew-women with their own unique background stories and personalities.

My excitement.
The excitement that should have been for Bethesda and Fallout 76.
Is now owned by Obsidian and the Outer Worlds!

That's what I thought, Fallout meets Borderlands.

I would like to see more about the core gameplay. Time will tell. The goofy humor seems to sell the hype alone.

Obsidian claims there will be no microtransactions:

The screenshots make this game look more like a cartoon. It seems to add to the silliness factor. The other notable this is the lack of UI in the screenshots. I hope it is not something that blinks on and off during gameplay.
