I'm going to take a stab at making a city plan for Starlight. This post is to open myself up to public shame if I don't get it done. Accountability is what the kids call it nowadays.

I thought about Sunshine Tidings but them thar dilapidated cabins drive me in-SANE and so it's best for what little hair I have left to leave that place be.
:)

I made a thing!
City Planner Desk: 1
Ag: 2
Mar: 4 (1 large, 3 small)
Com: 3
Rec: 3 (2 large, 1 int)
Ind: 2 (both 2x2, 1 Adv. 1 reg)
15 Pop.
Res: 11 (all int) plus housing in 2 buses, plus 1 Player Bed (right behind the 1st level stairs in Projector room).

I did not touch the buildings / rooms in the projector screen at all. Saved those for the player. I also saved the area right under the main wing of the Projector building. That's one of my favorite places to tuck crafting stations and such so I wanted to leave that free for the player too.

Edit: Got all the levels blueprinted!

Long view of main building and shops / 2x2 rec centers with part of the basketball court visible.

Similar shot but closer to the ground and showing off the lighting a bit. Lighting is a nightmare.

I guess this is my favorite way to view the settlement as this is another similar angle but closer in to see the main structure a little better.

Starlight Lounge! I loved the tarps in the city building pack. You can't see the pool table from here, but I wanted to show off the lights on the UFO and the 'high seat'.

The bus of doom! Holds 2 beds and 2 1x1 Martial plots. You can see the Industrial plots in the back right.

Basketball court and some leisure seating. Ah. How relaxing.

And there you have it! My first City Plan Settlement at L3.

Thanks so much @spamlord5 :)
I think maybe I took the 'make the Projector booth the focus' a bit too far as I put 10 residential plots in there and 1 recreational. That makes the rest of the place look really barren. I did want to leave the drive-in as open as possible for the player to build what they wanted.

Since I'm running on a decade old CPU, I appreciate the more sparse yet lived in settlements. Heck my AMD PhenomII x4 doesn't even support hyperthreading, yet I run FO4 with 255 active plugins (260 active mods total).

I can hardly wait for the City Plan Pack to get upgraded so I can "kick your tires", lol.

Thanks so much!
I have a computer that has 3 tired gerbils and a pissed off hamster running it. I try to limit the object count and have the structures be the attraction. I figure a player can decorate the heck out of the place, but if they CTD when they load into my settlement, I've failed them. I tested the build by setting fast travelling to it to make sure my PC could handle it.
I would CTD whenever I fast traveled to the Castle on one of my games. It was so bad I had to walk in backwards, open the workshop, and just start ripping stuff apart. :(
I'm never doing that again, I can assure you.

Just watched the sunrise from the High Seat in my Level 3 Starlight.

Nice job.

I'm learning a lot about apartment building from the high-rise.

Using that ac unit on the wing roof as a coffee table is brilliant!

Thanks so much!
I learned a lot about tight apartment building with that build. The AI pathing was a challenge to all those rooms. I changed the layout several times so the NPC's would actually go in.

I'm really glad you enjoy it! Thank you so much for the compliment. :)

I really wish there were appropriate animation markers for your basketball court.

I just placed a bunch of idle markers in there to see what happens.

Nice!
I wish there were more animations to choose from too. I thought about using the prayer ones in the stands. :)

Wish I had seen this when it first came out. Cant wait for it to build now!
