My third L3 city, Sunshine Co-Op. I was wandering around looking for a certain unemployed settler...

Oh! I found him!

Not a bug, just a bit humorous. :)

Sorry but I have to disagree, NOOB design, hmmmm, they still play Hide and seek in Fallout you know, and he has found the best place lol :acute

Yea, I lost track of how many times I found settlers on top of the movie screen in Starlight, even though the very first thing I do there is delete the doors and block the opening with walls. How DO they get up there?

Yeah.. it's a noob design oops. They are awesome designers hands down.. but "some" obviously lack experience "playing" the game. And have admitted it. "I didn't know there was a bunker in Sanctuary" Can I just build over the hatch in Bunker Hill", Even KG didn't know the exit door to the Castle dungeon lead to the dungeon, because he had the vanilla double door bug, which he also didn't know about and lack of experience playing the game. No shame in it.. they just don't know.

@jsalemi Because the screen is navmeshed (badly) with idle markers at the top. The game tries to path the NPC to the idle markers and when it can't, it teleports them. The only way to 100% prevent them getting up there is to make a mod that disables the idle markers.
Roofs are also navmeshed, and when there's a pathing error the game flakes out & puts em on the roof. Brahmin, as we all know are horrible for this.. because they won't fit trough a doorway.. so.. flakemaster takes over. LOL

I figured as much. Now I don’t bother blocking the doorway, so they can get down on their own.

It was two-three restarts before I realised the root cellar in Sanctuary existed, and another before I realised you could climb a tree trunk to a stash on the roof of the same building. I felt so stupid - I can relate.

Given the level of artistic design vs my own non-artistic "barn barracks" abilities, I'm happy to cut them all some slack for minor things. :)

Between when I first got the game years ago and now i’ve probably started and abandoned 10 characters, and to this day I still discover places i’ve never seen. The FO4 world is huge...

I hold Sim Settlements to a very high standard. The people behind the scenes are amazingly talented. And when they make "you really should know better" mistakes.. I b*tch about it, because that is lowering the quality of their amazing work.
Kind of like spending 5k on custom wheels & tires only to find out they forgot the pressure sensors. LOL

If you really want to drink the kool-aid, try coc qasmoke. Every item in the game in one room. Can you say "kid in a candy store"? I knew you could.
