Regarding Boston Airport (and others)

First off I just wanted to say a big "THANK YOU!" for this amazing mod, really injected a breath of fresh air into this game for me!

Now I have a question: what can I do about Boston Airport and other very small settlements? Even counting beds as homes only saves so much space, and I've spent the better part of an hour trying to come up with a solution on my own to no avail.
