Mod for scrapping more than what the game allows

I'm fairly new to modding and sim settlements 2 and the couple required for it are the first mods i've ever used. That said, i absolutely love Sim Settlements 2. However, i do find it hard to build like i'd like to due to all of the non removable junk and bushes and whatever, like in sanctuary where the remaining houses are kind of useless and in my opinion just ugly wastes of good plots lol yes, i have tried all the console commands with no luck. Is there any recommendations on scrap removal mods that work well with sim settlements 2? i get my mods through Bethesda in the game ,rather than nexus if that helps any haha

I am using ''scrap everything'', ''insignificant object remover'' and ''Commonwealth Cleanup Big Junk Remix v2.0 and Optional Patches''.
Seen alot of warnings about framerate drops and such when using these but my game seems to be running even better after huge cleanups.

you are using them all at once? Is there a specific load order you use, as well as any requirements and whatnot? Sorry for so many questions, i am terribly new to the modding world haha

yes, this is my mod list:

Is there a reason, why scrap everything isn't at the bottom of your list. It should be, along with Insignificant object remover.

so... i have my sim settlements 2 mods set up through Bethesda, directly inside my game and not the nexus manager, (the workshop framework, HUD framework and sim settlements 2, in that order) Through nexus with the cleanup mods, my order should be insignificant object remover, scrap everything, then CCBJ Remix?

Bottom influences everything that's above. So, in order to function correctly, and as designed, scrap everything should be at the very bottom. Insignificant object remover directly above.

with CCBJ remix above the object remover, if i'm understanding correctly?

Also, thoughts on these being loaded through nexus at the same time as my sim settlements 2 which i got from the bethesda website in game? i dont know how having mods from two different sources will effect anything?

I really appreciate the help and responses :)

Your right, Vortex handled them this way.
But since i have no issues ill keep it this way for now.
Above is plugin order btw, my mod order shows scrap evrything at a diffrent order.

I want to be clear, in my experience the safest mods of this type to use alongside SS or SS2 are:

Raze my Settlement
and
Place Everwhere - If you want more this does that.
note hotkeys here google something like: https://defkey.com/place-anywhere-shortcuts

Use what you want.
Given enough time and broken games, restarts, performance issues that eventually develop given time, broken NPC pathing, and countless other issues you may or may-not be able to diagnose you may one day come to appreciate these suggestions.
There are technical reasons behind all this :friends

thank you so much for this! I guess my next question would be will they still work alright through nexus mods since my SS2 is loaded through Bethesda in game? SS2 and it's required extras are literally the only mods I have right now but i got them through Bethesda and not Nexus

Bethesda is fine. :good

:blush
But, maybe start thinking about a real mod organizer?
But, no worries, I too once started downloading mods from Bethesda. Ha, seems like a long time ago but it was just a few years.
Best advice, is take your time and do what is comfortable for now.
“When if ever you are ready this is a great place to get help.”
Ha! And the gopher videos :)
When the student is ready the teacher will appear :hi

haha i will probably redo everything through nexus when i decide to do a new game. Until then, will the two mods you mentioned still work right if SS2 is not through nexus?

place everywhere, raze my settlement, and clean my settlement last 2 are by wisper clean my settlement allows bushes leaf's and some trash to be removed, as well as vines and sea weed. just be careful with raze my settlement it scraps everything excluding beds and terminals but that includes fencing trees scrapable buildings all of it. so use it with caution.

Yes. SS2 is the same file from either place.
Watch the videos on the raze page. They will explain the mod perfectly and show you what to expect.
Still, make a save before running the tape, so you can roll back if you don’t like it. I like to select “leaving the trees” but it’s just a preference
