Welcome to Hangman's Back-Alley Trading and Arena
Can't or won't go into Diamond City? Trader, raider or adventurer? Well we have everything you need right here. We at Hangman's Alley welcome you and your caps. Don't worry about the numerous turrets (paid for by all the caps you'll spend here), they are here for your security (don't even think about stealing anything or starting a fight).

Down our shopping alley you'll find retailers who'll buy and sell anything you could want and wont ask any awkward questions. Then head into the Hangout, it's the place to go to enjoy some booze, food and chems. If you head upstairs to the boudoir you'll find some more relaxing entertainment.

Fancy your entertainment more bloody? Then head up to the seats overlooking our Arena. The next fight may need to wait for someone to break the rules or for us to install some cages. (The Arena also makes use of the area between the North and East entrances where settlers don't path properly. All work and residential plots are sited in locations where settlers will properly navigate between their posts).

We have plenty of power, where does it come from? Well Diamond City have enough to waste it on those glaring flood lights, they won't miss a little, will they?

The city plan features:
12 residential plots (more than enough to ensure commercials fully upgrade), +3 settler beds and one for the player.
3 Commercial plots + 3 Blue-man levelled stores.
2 Industrial plots (allow martial to level 2, 1 intended to supply water)
2 Agricultural plots (not enough to self sustain)
2 Martial plots (+ plenty of turrets to deal with the dodgy clientele)
2 Recreational plots
Addons featured:
Uituit's: Junktown, Bloodmoon Raiders, and Flotsam & Jetsam
Wasteland Ventures 1 & 2
CptCoots Addon Creations

If you mean the size restriction, my computer cant handle much bigger anyway. It won't be a big population plan.

- **Survive the Horde** - Tell the tale with your design of how your settlers survived the raider hordes of Conqueror! Did they hunker down and build fortifications? Did they offer all of the back-alley services the raiders love? Did the simply throw up the white flag and become enslaved?

Hence the shady, back alley . Figure it's a good central location for people to come to purchase goods and services. Especially if those folks or the goods and services are not ones that are welcomed by Diamond City security.

Good Luck man. I can't wait to see more Hangman's Alley plans.

Thanks Cpt, Hangman's is like a jigsaw puzzle, trying to get the bits fitting together and working around the nav wall. I just hope I can create something I'm happy with. I do like a good puzzle, once it's finished at least.

Only a few days to go ;) Don't forget to put your 10 screenshots in the 1st post of this thread

A third city plan from you! that's impressive. I gotta say I had a lot of trouble picking out a hangmans alley plan to use, but in the end this one really stuck on me! The shadiness really spoke to me to not only match that its an alley but to explain why people would come here with diamond city just around the corner, its like a smaller crime-free goodneighbor! I also had no clue about the navmesh problem in that part of the settlement, glad i didn't have to find out the hard way, I like how despite that you found a good way to utilize that space. I can't wait to use it, thank you for the hard work you put into these plans

Hi, so i tried using this city plan. But its missing ALOT of things when it builds. I have all the requirements listed. Do i need the special perks for traders etc? Im not even getting the signs at the entrance or the entrance in that case.... Im litterally missing an entire section. And way more.

What level is the plan at? If it's foundation level then that looks about right.

Ah okay im guessing the signs and fighting arena etc comes later then, i noticed one of the interior residential plots was placed floating? Is that also meant to happen?

The lower levels always start very basic, and get more detailed as the city develops. There shouldn't be any plots floating. If you have some doing so, my first question would be if you have a scrap mod or any such that disables precombines. If you do then some of the vanilla items which the plan relies on will have been scrapped. If unsure, a screenshot of the floating location should confirm if that's the issue or not.

I've got the Scrap Everything mod, but i dont think thats what is causing it. Ill add a picture. Its by the workbench place.
At first the plot was floating, but i placed it down on the ground. Did a city plan refresh just now to show where it was. Should i just keep it there, wait for the city to upgrade then replace it so the plot actually renders up there?

Yep that's due to Scrap Everything. There should be an un-scrapable building there. If you try to continue using city plans with pre-combines disabled, you are going to keep running into the same issue at various settlements, not to mention the performance hit. Pre-combines are there for a reason, even if we wish that a lot of items which were included were not.

Ah shit.... is there a way to reset a settlement location to pre having acces to the workshop. So i can redo it, just without the Scrap Everything mod. For example replace a file related to that settlement, or delete it and have the game remake it. I dunno, just something.

When the issue has come up previously, it seems that removing Scrap Everything and making sure that pre-combines are turned back on in your ini file, makes all the unscrabables come back. But be warned, removing mods mid play-through has a habit of causing its own problems and you may well find your game becoming unstable and at some point becoming unusable.

Ah, awsome. So i removed the mod, but i cant seem to figure out which ini file the pre combines stand in? I checked all the inis in the My documents path, and the one steam directs you too. Could you help me with where its supposed to be, or how to add it/fix it. I really appreciate your help.

The line you're looking for is 'bUseCombinedObjects' and you want it to be '=1'. I'm not actually 100% which ini as I've never touched it myself, but I'd assume that you're looking in the right place.
