All it took was a single report of a synth haven completed.

Knight-Captain Smith. Forward base Maine.

It has taken months to clear the space needed for the vertibirds This island must have been home to the coast guard as there was a damaged vertibird landing pad already here. Trekking up the coast on the Gunboat was frustrating and bringing the equipment needed to build this forward base has been exhausting.

We have set up on an easy to defend Island, there is a “settlement” across from us and some of its inhabitants have "volunteered", adding to the manpower on site. They are falling in line with brotherhood standards.

The earth moving machines that Ingram fixed up have proved more than up to the task of levelling out parts of the island. While clearing some trees we hit on something fantastic the island has a good source of oil, and I could not believe my eyes when I saw it.

Furthermore, good news the outpost is now able to produce its own fuel, ammo and steel the island has a number of good locations for expansion making this island a perfect training ground.

It turns out that this part of the commonwealth has some interesting marine life that can rip right through standard defences. The creatures are unable to climb all that well. To that effect, I have built up the natural cliffs of this small island and on the approaches fortified them. We are entrenched well now.

Pictures as follows, the camera had taken damage and the weather is not helping, there is a radioactive fog on this island, and it is effecting the equipment it is nothing too worrisome it is more annoying than anything.

The camera is up and running as you can see the base is taking shape.
Will post more but have to deal with the locals again.

Will have to talk the scribes for this I had no clue how to turn oil into the fuel needed for the vitibirds all I remember from the lessons is that oil is one of the reasons the world is like this and when I saw the black bubbling from the roots of that trees I has no clue what it would take to get it processed. The vitibirds are now fully operational

Oh, thank you once again for the two NPC's we are working to get them up and running to help with deployment in this fog. We have lost a few good men and I am happy that you agreed with my assessment and had them delivered.

I don't know how to spawn in anything that only uses city plan assets. However, are there any BOS AddOn Plots that do that? If you could find a plot that does that, then you're inside the rules of the contest because it's only "Designer's Choice" for plots. If a player doesn't have that AddOn pack, the city plan will just choose another one that they do have.
So maybe you can get your vertibirds flying in without having to anything crazy. :)

I will have a look into all the sim settlements addons and see if there are any plots that fit the need.

I have been thinking about this for a bit to see if there's a way of getting a Veritbird. It will probably require a bit of testing on your part to see if we can get it to work.

If you go to: PBP > Special > Settlement > Misc > Misc you will find a BOS faction claim marker and a Vertibird maker.
Place both of these in your settlement, with the landing pad maker where you want one.
In: PBP > Special > Spawners you will find guard creators, place a couple of those around your plan.
Then run this: cqf kgsim_recruitmentmanager TestGuards true
You should now have a vertibird flying overhead and few BoS soldiers around your settlement.
Next get the base/forum id of the vertbird that's flying overhead.
Once you have the id run cqf kgsim_recruitmentmanager TestGuards false and fast travel away.
When you return run cqf kgpbp Spawn followed by the vertibird id.
You will now have a working vertibird in your settlement that will remain there.
How you will go about getting it to fly I have no idea, you'll have to test it.

If you show me a pic of the military tents and tell me where one is located in game I will get you one.

will test this tonight after work

@Phil_T_Casual
when I run cqf kgpbp Spawn followed by any of the ID that I get when I run the commands to get vertibird to show up nothing happens, I went so far as to spawn a dupe to remove the temp marker and run the command again with no change.

It also turns out that the idea of military tents are a fallout 76 thing as I have been to every location and came up empty in Fallout 4

There should be far harbor tents to use, though not as militaristic as you may want... which as in Far Harbor, would be allowed to use.

So I have got a vertibird to spawn, but it only flies, it doesn't land, as soon as it spawns it takes off.
This will spawn it for you: cqf kgpbp Spawn 110303
We will need to get the id of one that is landed I think, if you have a save where you can summon a BoS one that would probably work.
Use better console to get the base id of objects so you can use the Spawn cmd. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26582

Are there tents at the airport after the BoS arrive?

I think you are correct... I have3 all factions unlocked (except institute) in a save... I could look tonight if no one else gets to it.

maybe the id for the one that comes and picks you up when you work for the brotherhood. I will test. Also will look at tents in FH.

I can't find bench press or weights, this is vexing me.

They're part of one if the DLCs, can't remember which one off the top of my head, but one of the ones which pretty much just added workshop items. As such I don't think you'll be able to use them in a comp design. There is a nice press up animation, and some gym plots you could use. Vault tools and wasteland ventures both have nice ones.

I was hoping the build kit had it somewhere. On the upside, I did find weights, under clutter and sports. But really wanted to have a bench press. I am at max plots so I can't go adding any more that way. Also, need a good animation for a gun range, I know there are a few plots under entertainment that fit that bill but I will keep messing about.

They from vault tec workshop which cannot be used in the contest.

This base is taking shape nicely the number of changes from 0 to 3 is fantastic a real buildup in presence.

So, I could not find any tents, I decided to go about making what I could. This military camp is looking rather well dug in. I have a lot of small things I need to do. However, the bones are all but done now to flesh it out hope to build limit holds as I have so much to add about all over the place. It is so strange building only for 15 and not 21.

did you end up finding anything I came up empty?
