Solved Nuka-Hell meshes

On PC, nearing lvl 50 so I decide to take Ada and my fine self over to NukaWorld to get things rolling.
I reach the last room with the bumper cars where you have to face Colter and WOW.
Mesh problems everywhere in that room! Things poking through the wall and into that room to the point where you literally cannot see anything in front of you.

I have a low mod count and nothing at all that touches NukaWorld or edits cells there.

-I’m assuming this is a possible bug of Sim Settlements prebuilt cities.
- Has anyone else experienced this when they got to NukaWorld?

So far it’s only in that room.
It’s as if there was a prebuilt foundation that “sank” underneath the world space and into that interior cell that holds the Bumper Cars. Idk if that’s even possible?
It’s like a prebuilt city that sunk in there? But I didn’t know of any prebuilt areas that were even available in that area. I know you get that little area on Fizztop Mountain but I can’t see or think of anything else I’m running that would cause this other than SS.

By the grace of god I was able to find my way out but I had to use .killall command to defeat Colter which sucked because you cannot see ANYTHING.

My comp is currently being shipped over the ocean but when I get to it I will post my mod list.

Of course systems differ, so I will point out right away that I am on Xbox.

I have toyed with many mods mixed in with conqueror and always do nuka world, and in all my playthroughs the only time I had any issue (not as bad as what you mentioned above) was when playing with minutemen taking nuka world.

I know there is a city plan for nuka world red rocket, but I'm pretty sure it is not one you can choose to build up beforehand.

There are a few quest mods that are targeted in the nuka world area, do you happen to have any of those installed? (There's a nuka world institute mod for example, though I don't recall if it was on Xbox, or I surely would have tried it at least once)

As far as I can recal, nothing. I do have NPC’s Travel running but that doesn’t mess with any interior meshes.
I have The Lost Vault but that isn’t Nuka World. The only untested one I can think of is the new quest mod The Machine and Her. Which I haven’t completed yet so maybe I’ll drop them a line on Nexus but I’m sure if that spans into the NukaWorld space. Hmmm

I’m assuming

You assume wrong.

You have broken something in your save, blaming SS/CQ for your or another mods scew up isn't helpful.

Easy there Phil.
Blame is hardly the point of me requesting insight, starting a poll and using the word assume. Hardly

Thanks for your kind response though.

It's easy for people to blame certain mods for their issues, which in turn understandably causes people that use the same mod without issues to get a little irritated.

Follow this down below
Humm, ok. It will be helpful if you can do two things and post the results:
1. Load Order
2. Check your save file with Fallrim
Then>>>>
3. One at a time when did all this start.
4. Have you tried rolling back your save to see if it happens in a save "let's say two weeks ago?" Something like that anyway.
5. Uninstall any mods this playthrough?

Below is how to do both.

There is an issue with vanilla Nuka-World that hits some people. There is a fix for pc on Nexus mod id 17853 - Nuka-World Bottle Scenery Fix. Don't know if there is something similar for consoles but it might be worth checking.

(the system won't let me post a proper link even though I apparently just meet the requirements)

This is absolutely it! It’s the oversized Nuka Cola bottles popping down into the Cola Cars scene. The screen shots are exactly what I was experiencing. I’m amazed you found this thank you!

Also this is a Vanilla issue and had nothing to do with me “breaking my save” lol.

Thanks for the genuine help @OneWolf .

Luckily (unfortunately?) it was a problem I had too, so all I had to do was look at my download history on Nexus. Glad I had a useful answer, I usually just lurk and read since there are so many knowledgeable and helpful folks here who know way more than I do.

I'm glad you were able to find a fix. And actually even more glad that it wasn't a mod conflict.

Didn't know about that mod, either, I've been going into the console and "disabling" all the extraneous bottles in the car ride & safari adventure before entering. You just have to watch what you choose to disable, but I haven't had any problems disabling more than the minimum needed.
