NEW look Officially updated!!

Sometimes I used to change the lyrics and sing about some of my unique cousins. Lol! But mostly just sing along with the song trying to match the notes. Ones liek Even Flow and Take on Me can get pretty loud. But... it's worth it. :dance2
I still remember the first time I saw A-Ha Take Me On - I was breathless at the animation and real world mix. But yea I usually do too. Parodies can ruin the original. Why I love original parodies :D

Here's a few I did quite a few years ago- haven't played in awhile. I installed some DeMarzio's in my son's strat when he was at school and tested them out. They had a 'bell' like tone so I strummed out some chord progressions then just kept multi-tracking over that. Most tracks were a one-take thing so there'll be a few 'quirks' now and then. The bass sounds were thunmping on muted strings.

Here's some easy listening stuff: No Turning Back, Shawnee Winter and Shimmering Water.

It's best played where some full ranged speakers- hope you guys like! :grin

Nice! Just FYI Shimmering Water also takes you to No Turning Back.
Very mellow.

Please tell me @kinggath has your music in the mod - cause its amazing! Do a touch of sound designs for light tunes like the Sanctuary riff in the vanilla game. Would help convey a lot of emotion.

This one is all acoustic. I was playing with a VAmp and recorded everything using either the Linux version of Ubuntu Studio's Ardour, or a directional active mic(for the acoustic).
Really cool it has a touch of a western feel to me. Makes me think of Jake. I thought it was a bit whistful. Made me envision it with him staying behind with the corpses in Smoke.

I would head down and fire everything up(not much tbh) and then strum out some chords, then try and put a 'call' 'response' over that in many many layers. You can hear when I picked 'off' notes.I got some of the recordings better balanced than others as are a bit 'muddy'. I've been wanting to get back to playing for quite some time- I just haven't taken the time to do it. Well that, exercising, stretching... coding... oh my... I think I'll just pour myself a drink. :lol
